NGC7000

 

The North America Nebula NGC7000 is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. FOV is 1.95˚ x 2.94˚. The shape of the nebula resembles North America. This is fifty-three 240s guided subs taken on May 13th, 2022 at Darling Hill Observatory in Vesper, NY with an Optolong L’eXtreme filter and six 240s guided subs taken on May 15th, 2022 with an Optolong L’Pro. A Canon EOS 7D at ISO2000, Optron CEM40G mount, ZWO ASI120MM mini mono guide camera, William Optics 50mm guide scope, ASIAir Plus, William Optics FLT 91 + Flat 6AIII 0.8 reducer FL 432mm f/4.9.

Messier 101 The Pinwheel Galaxy

M101 known as the Pinwheel Galaxy is a face-on spiral galaxy 21 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Ursa Major. FOV is approximately 158’ X 116’. This is twenty-six 240s guided subs taken from the Darling Hill Observatory in Vesper, NY on May 19th, 2022. A Canon EOS7D camera , iOptron CEM40G mount, ZWO ASI120MM mini mono guide camera, William Optics 50mm guide scope, ASIAir Plus, William Optics FLT 91 + Flat 6AIII 0.8 reducer FL 432mm f/4.9.

Blood Moon Eclipse 5-15-22

 

Timelapse taken every 30 seconds with a William Optics FLT91 + Flat 6AIII FL 432 f/4.9. Canon EOS7D at ISO2000. Shutter speed range from 1/4000 of a second to 5 seconds. This was taken at the Darling Hill Observatory in Vesper, NY. Photos were centered using PIPP and then combined into a video file using Final Cut Pro.

Markarian’s Chain

Markarian’s Chain is part of a supercluster of galaxies in the constellation Virgo including M84, M86, and the Eyes Galaxies NGC 4435 and NGC 4438. FOV is 174' x 114'.This is forty-four 240s guided subs taken on April 20th, 2022 at Darling Hill Observatory in Vesper, NY. NGC6523 (M8) and NGC6514 (M20) The Lagoon and Trifid Nebula are H II regions in the constellation Sagittarius. NGC6531(M21) and NGC 6544 are also present in the image. FOV is 175 x 115.8. Bode's Galaxy and the Cigar Galaxy

 

M81, M82, NGC3077, and NGC2976 in Ursa Major. M81 Bode’s  Galaxy is a grand design spiral galaxy, and M82 the Cigar Galaxy is a starburst galaxy approximately 12 million light-years away from earth. FOV is approximately 122’ X 94’ This is sixty-five 120 second guided subs for a total of 2 hour and 10 minutes taken from Darling Hill Observatory in Vesper, NY on March 29th, 2022. The Rosette Nebula

NGC2244 is an open cluster surrounded by nebulosity known as the Rosette Nebula in the constellation Monoceros. FOV is 122’ X 94’.
