NGC7000

 

The North America Nebula NGC7000 is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. FOV is 1.95˚ x 2.94˚. The shape of the nebula resembles North America. This is fifty-three 240s guided subs taken on May 13th, 2022 at Darling Hill Observatory in Vesper, NY with an Optolong L’eXtreme filter and six 240s guided subs taken on May 15th, 2022 with an Optolong L’Pro. M101 known as the Pinwheel Galaxy is a face-on spiral galaxy 21 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Ursa Major. FOV is approximately 158’ X 116’. Blood Moon Eclipse 5-15-22

 



Timelapse taken every 30 seconds with a William Optics FLT91 + Flat 6AIII FL 432 f/4.9. Canon EOS7D at ISO2000. Shutter speed range from 1/4000 of a second to 5 seconds. This was taken at the Darling Hill Observatory in Vesper, NY. Photos were centered using PIPP and then combined into a video file using Final Cut Pro.

Bode's Galaxy and the Cigar Galaxy
