The Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex

 The Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex is an area of interstellar clouds and nebulae in the constellation Scorpius and Ophiuchus. FOV is 4.58˚x 2.95˚. This is 31 240s guided subs taken on 5/7/22 and 17 240s guided subs taken on 5/28/22 from the Darling Hill Observatory in Vesper, NY with an Optolong L-Pro filter. The North America Nebula NGC7000 is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. FOV is 1.95˚ x 2.94˚. The shape of the nebula resembles North America. M101 known as the Pinwheel Galaxy is a face-on spiral galaxy 21 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Ursa Major. FOV is approximately 158’ X 116’. This is twenty-six 240s guided subs taken from the Darling Hill Observatory in Vesper, NY on May 19th, 2022. Blood Moon Eclipse 5-15-22

 

Timelapse taken every 30 seconds with a William Optics FLT91 + Flat 6AIII FL 432 f/4.9. Canon EOS7D at ISO2000. Shutter speed range from 1/4000 of a second to 5 seconds. This was taken at the Darling Hill Observatory in Vesper, NY. Photos were centered using PIPP and then combined into a video file using Final Cut Pro.
